Individual instrumental tuition forms the backbone to daily activity at Newpark Academy of Music. Lessons in a wide range of instruments and styles are available with experienced and dedicated teachers.
Performance activity within the school is strongly encouraged and supported by regular student concerts, participation in chamber and orchestral groups, as well as involvement with our well - established annual Festival. Teachers at Newpark Academy of Music enter pupils for Trinity Guildhall, Royal Irish Academy of Music and Associated Board of the Royal School of Music examinations. Instruments are categorised into the following departments; piano, strings, woodwind, brass, percussion and voice with an additional department offering musicianship and Leaving Certificate.
Lessons are offered in 30 minutes and 60 minutes classes. (We strongly recommend student who are grade 5 and above to take on the 60 minutes classes)
Individual tuition is offered in the following:
Woodwind - Flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder
Brass - Trumpet
Strings - Violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, bass guitar, harp
Keyboard - Piano
Percussion - Drum
Vocal - Classical / Pop / Jazz Voice
